The aviainform Cargo Waypoint Builder (CWB) is a database for the purpose of assigning airports to cities, states or provinces, countries or even regions.

Even so members of the Air Transport Industry must base their reporting on pre-designed regions, such regions may not be adequate e.g. to maximize the outcome of individual sales or marketing efforts; to develop feeder network activities or simply administer better pricing actions.

CWB is intended to manage network access points in which an Air Waybill can be issued for transportation, regardless whether this is a point of Origin or a point of Destination. In contrast to Air Carriers passenger operations, numerous off-airport locations are even not listed for the use of cargo collection or delivery.

With over 10.000 international entries CWB is a perfect supplement for Air Carriers or Cargo Agents to update their own reference database. On top, CWB enables Air Transport Industry companies to calculate physical Distances by presenting Longitude and Latitude data. Even more, you may use CWB to assign your very own, customized areas for both sales and marketing actions; to calculate feed/de-feed tariffs or to permit clients area-specific agreements outside the boundaries of countries.

All waypoints are presented based on IATA and ICAO coding tables. The various formats available enable you to use CWB within your own Information Infrastructure environment without further delay.
