| New Cargo Facility Opens in US Airport |

A new cargo facility has been started in the Indianapolis International Airport in the US for shipping and receiving large or unusual freight items carried by airlines. The new facility will be called as Airport Support Services Building. It is a 40,000ft² concrete structures and was built at a cost of $5.4m. It will comprise conveyor systems, baggage carts, tugs and tractors, personnel transportation vehicles, trucks and portable equipment for servicing airplanes. The facility will combine the cargo and tarmac operations that were scattered among three buildings near the airport's old passenger terminal. The cargo facility will be the airport's primary hub to take delivery of the cargo from passenger airlines. It will work as a ground support equipment maintenance facility for airlines.
