Cargo movement at Kolkata airport has been at standstill following "teething problems" with a new IT system. The issue has caused customs to shut down its clearance system, officials told The Times of India. The delays of flights including the Spicejet Guwahati-Kolkata-Ahmedabad due to depart 1845 hrs created passenger demonstrations at 2200 hrs until a replacement flight departed 2330 hrs.
