What Data Is Saved When You Visit Our Web Pages?

Inventory data are personal data which are bound to the user's true identity (name, address, telephone number, email address etc.) This pertains to the information you submit on the pages of aviainform when you create entries or register with the site. Your publically viewable entries/discussion contributions are marked with your first and last name. Your email address will neither be published nor passed on to third parties. We save it only in case we need to contact you.

The login names of registered users will also not be published. Information about profession and age are for statistical purposes only. If you wish, you can subscribe to the aviainform newsletter. Access Data
According to § 15 Section 1 Telemedia Act – TMG – »Nutzungsdaten« refers to the personal data that is linked to and created in the course of the use of our pages (IP address, time and date of use). As most servers active in the worldwide web, aviainform's web server saves every access of our pages, meaning IP address, date, and time of access in so-called log files. These log files are used for regular statistical analysis and to safeguard our clients proprietary data. aviainform is prohibited by law to ascertain the users' identity from this data for other purposes than safeguarding. Statistics are for the sole purpose of identifying content or conceptual shortcomings so that we can continually improve our internet services to visitors. For storage and access of commercial data and/or company-related data, you will be legally binded to separate terms & conditions and a non-disclosure agreement. For enhanced security purposes we will track any registered users with their full IP address and other relevant information. Registered users may also be checked and again verfied from time-to-time to prevent misuse of their indentities.
